Parked in the car park at the Ski Centre in Glencoe, did not realise it was so large.  Followed some people across boggy land rather than walking down to the climbers cottage as suggested in some books.  Don't know if it made any difference but it is not a pleasant walk contouring round the hills to reach the ridge leading up to Creise.  Within half an hour I had fallen four times.  First I stepped into a hole of water up to my calf, then similar right up to the crotch, then a mud hole and finally slipped on rocks crossing a burn.  My left boot was squelching for the rest of the day.  Going up the ridge was slow but not unpleasant and the route is relatively obvious, with plenty of options.  At one rocky bit Graeme decided to try a bit of scrambling to the side while I took the easier, grassy route.  I then lost him for a few minutes and assumed he had gone way ahead.  But no, he had got stuck on the scramble on some slabs and had to reverse and go back to my easy route.  Didn't put him off when we came to the real scrambling area.  Unfortunately I had what is becoming a problem i.e. difficulty in getting my leg up over large rocks.  Had I tried a bit harder or thought a bit laterally, I could have done it, but I gave up easily and took the bypass route.  Over this it was false tops all the way.  The weather was misty, humid and not a breathe of wind.  Guinness, Stella and sandwiches at the top which though misty was pleasant.  Every so often the mist would break, with clouds beneath us, giving us excellent views over to Meall a'Bhuiridh.  Only one couple disturbed us, only briefly as they went for lunch some way off the summit.
Graeme went ahead and promptly missed the way off the summit of Creise.  We would eventually have found it but I saw somebody coming out of the mist to my left, which was a kind of clue.  Down a steep scrambly ridge to a col then a familiar slow but easy climb up to the summit which you reach quicker than you expect.  Coming off this hill is simple, down grassy slopes till you come to the ski slopes and chairlifts.   Down at this point there is a road between chairlifts which is a great relief and makes the walk even simpler.  At the main chairlift the guy was closing up shop (they even have a restaurant up here) and eventually he passed us on the lift before it shut up for the day.  Getting down is just a matter of following the chairlift  and we were soon at the car park.
