A Personal Account of Walks in the Scottish Hills

This website is mainly a record of my walks in Scotland since 1991.  The commentaries will give anyone interested an idea what it is like on the hills and may be of some help to those who are thinking of climbing specific hills.  I first started walking in Scotland when I turned 50 and my first munro was Ben Lomond.  From then on I was hooked and have managed to climb a further 145 munros.  I've also managed to persuade my son, Graeme, to come with me on most of the trips and he's just a few short of me.  I would love to get in all 284 of them but, living a long way from the Highlands (Folkestone) means trips up there are few and far between and age is not on my side.
Just (April 2010) done another few miles on the Southwest Coast path.  Terrific walking, though not nearly as energetic as the hills.
